Sorry but for now this project is dead in the water. I start school in less than 2 months and I still have to move. At some point I will resurrect the project but for the next 2 years I’m going to be beyond busy.

TZD Flyer

Posted by turboStar on February 8, 2011

I gotta say, I feel like a douche taking so long to contribute to this awesome project.  I must first apologize for taking so long.

I’m sorry.

Going forward, I have a good chunk of free time coming up and I will be able to finally scan some much needed documents for the project.  Along with that I’ll be working on finding some games that need scans done.  First comes to mind is John Madden Duo CD Football, along with that I’ll be throwing together a few write ups for some games that look like they need some love.  Loom and Madden look to be up first.  I love both games and shouldn’t have much trouble scrapping together something sweet.

Thanks again to the people that have put forth so much work thus far on the project.  It is coming along really well, everything looks amazing!!

Scribus is a go

Posted by Ayce on January 22, 2011

Well it’s safe to say that I will be using Scribus to create the PDF layout. I’ve spent several hours today getting the basic layout (same layout as before but now on Scribus) and it’s successfully turned into a PDF with out any issues. Well, actually that’s a lie, I did have some issues but I’ve corrected them. Some of the original fonts I was using would did not look right on the PDF so I had to change the main font. The NEC font works fine so I will continue to use that in certain areas.

After getting settled here in Corpus Christi my church wanted me to do a Church Newsletter, this gave me ample time to mess with Scribus quite a bit. So I’ve decided to go back and redo what I’ve done so far on the book to make it a bit more user friendly for editing perposes. This will give me extra work right now but in the long run should make the book completion faster. The downside to this is trying to give screen shots of the progress, I may just have to do it in PDF form from now on.

Holiday craziness is all finished! Hoorah!

I’m also all moved in to Corpus Christi now and getting acclimated to my new surroundings. This should mean that I can get working on the project again. Just wanting to have a check in for any members who are still interested.

Time to move

Posted by Ayce on December 13, 2010

Well once the crazy rush of Christmas is done I found out that my job will be relocating my family. I’ll be moving to Corpus Christi… so what does all this mean? Well, this means once the hard long days are over I have to pack up my house and move further South. That’s okay though it’s going to be a lot of work to pack all of our stuff up and move but I’ve always wanted to visit Corpus Christi and now I’ll get to live there for a few months at least.

Yes I’m still alive… barely!

Posted by Ayce on December 7, 2010

As the Christmas season comes even closer I’ve been working 16-17 hours per day and I am getting drained. The good news only a few more weeks left before I can finally get some normal rest and back to the project. As stated before I wanted to post so that you didn’t think I was dropping out on this whole thing, just overly busy right now. 7 days a week where Sunday is supposed to be my day off but there are still things that I have to do on Sundays so I only work around 10 hours those days.

I shall see you all come the new year. Until then, take care and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Christmas time is here again

Posted by Ayce on November 17, 2010

It’s only mid November, many people don’t even want to come to the realization that Christmas is just around the corner until after Thanksgiving. The fact of the matter is Christmas is upon us. I’ve been working 12-14 hour days for the past week as of tomorrow, this would include Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say I am very beat and don’t have time to work on the project at all as I had previously expected. I just wanted to let you know I am still here and interested in the project but just have no time to have life outside of work (sad to say I don’t even have time for my own family).

Still Kickin’

Posted by Ayce on November 6, 2010

Yeah I’m still around, I had a bit of down time today so I’ve been playing some more games to get the shots needed for more layouts. As I said before due to my job the holidays are a killer so I’m not having a lot of time to do anything right now and after just opening a community center things have been a bit tiresome. Anyway when I get the chance to do something I’ll be around. I’ll try and post as often as possible just so anyone who accidentally comes here wont think it’s a dead project.

The project is looking great on an iPad.

Bomberman ’93

Posted by Ayce on October 27, 2010

Ok another Bomberman game down. No where near as bad as the last on but I still got rather bored with it. I guess it must have been Bomberman ’94 that I really enjoyed. Anyway when I get some time I’m going to do up the next few pages but now I’m off to bed.
